Tours, COVID And Tiers
Article Date: Thu 25 Feb 2021
Here is some handy information about our policies for COVID and our tours. We will continuously update this information as humanly possible. We will always put your and our staff's safety first.

30.12.20: We are working hard to ensure we follow all the up to date, relevant COVID19 procedures to ensure all our events and practises are COVID secure and safe for all visitors and staff. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

With the new tier system, we are currently located in a tier 2 location. This means we can host viewings, events, and tours with people also from a tier 2 area. Currently, we are unable to host these events with people living in a tier 3 area and must request that guests from tier 3 areas wait until their location tier changes. If you are in a tier 3 area, we are happy to add you to a waiting list, for the tier review every 2 weeks until you are able to attend a viewing.

Face masks must be always worn during your visit to the castle to ensure the safety of all visitors and yourself. Bookings are within groups of 6 and must be of the same household/bubble.  We usually offer refreshments during viewings, however during this difficult time, we will not be offering drinks upon arrival to reduce the contamination. We do have toilet facilities available, however please note these are to be used with caution, as other guests have the option of using them.

If you have bought tickets then unable to attend due to COVID please let us know, so hopefully we can move your ticket to a later date when you are able to attend.

We will continue to monitor and update our procedures as government announcements are made.
