The Castle

Create a day to remember in our enchanting castle. Welcoming up to 120 guests for your civil ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests for your evening reception, Allerton Castle offers exclusive use of its luxurious and unique indoor and outdoor spaces

From the breathtaking first appearance of the bride on the Great Hall staircase as the civil ceremony begins, through to signing the wedding register either in front of your guests in the Great Hall or within the privacy of the magnificent Drawing Room you could not ask for a more romantic start to life as husband and wife.

After drinks and canapes in the Memorial Garden, return inside to the spectacular vaulted Ballroom for your wedding breakfast, speeches and cutting of the wedding cake. The Ballroom is an opulent space with ornate high vaulted ceiling and chandeliers illuminating the tables below laid out with floral centrepieces and candelabra to your own personal specifications; a magnificent setting for your wedding breakfast, chosen by you and professionally prepared and served by our specialist caterers.

The Great Hall is then transformed for your evening party with dimmed lighting and your personally chosen band or DJ, ready for your first dance as husband and wife before partying the night away under the extraordinary hammer beam ceiling.

For the bride and groom and their special guests, our overnight accommodation means you can retire upstairs after the celebrations. The Palace Suite is a luxurious setting for your wedding night, whilst the Tudor Bedrooms are ideal for close relatives.

The Grounds

Your wedding day memories begin as you approach the dominating silhouette of Allerton Castle along the sweeping tree lined driveway. Enjoy some musical entertainment with drinks and canapes in the Memorial Garden. Pose with family and friends on the stone stairways, and take a walk in the gardens and grounds as you capture those precious first memories as newlyweds.
